S.S. Minnow Thanks

Today's card is simple, but I LOVE the way it came out.  A friend of my husband took us out boating over the holidays.  He has an ultra fancy pontoon boat.  Each time he leaves the dock he plays the theme song from Gilligan's Island.  So, for this card I printed out the words from that song and used it as the basis for my card.  This card came out exactly like I envisioned it, so I hope he likes it.  The only problem is --- now I can't get that song out of my head!

Mom & Me, Storybook Baby Card

Today I'm sharing a baby card made  using Lawn Fawn's Mom & Me and Avery Elle's Storybook stamp sets.

Other supplies used include: Bella Blvd Sweet Sweet Spring Patterned Paper, Sizzix Heart Dies, Pretty Pink Posh sequins, Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Dies and Neenah Desert Storm 110 lb cardstock.  The branch and leaves are from a very old Michael's dollar clear stamp.

Happy 2017

Happy 2017!  I am so happy to see the new year. 2016 was in many ways a difficult one for me, so I am hoping for a "less eventful" 2017.

Today I'm sharing my Christmas Thank You cards - which I am still working on writing out.  They will hopefully be in the mail soon.  They are very elegant looking in real life.  The gold embossing is difficult to photograph.

Crazy Dog Christmas

Today I have three cards I made recently, all using Tim Holtz Crazy Dog Stamps.

 

To turn each of these crazy dogs (after coloring) into a Christmas card I accessorized them - with a Santa hat and sentiment, a dog house with mistletoe, and Christmas lights and a strip of "merry" patterned paper.  I do love the expressions on each of these dogs faces.

A Five Minute Fishy Card

Today I have a card made in under five minutes.  Very quick.  Sometimes you just want to let your patterned paper be the entire focus of the card.  I quickly stamped the sentiment onto a couple of diecuts and that was it.

Frosty and Friends Birthday Wishes

Today I have a cute birthday card to share made for a friend who loves snowmen.

 I did do a little partial die cutting to shorten the birthday wishes frame to form a square rather than a polaroid frame.
