Pinkfresh Noteworthy Frames

I have two cards to share, both use the Pinkfresh Noteworthy Frames Die. This die is perfect for tucking little things behind (like these flowers made with a Paper Smooches die) as it cuts the top and bottom but not the sides.

Happy New Year, 2019

Wow! I cannot believe that it is already a new year. I'm not really sure what has happened to the past few months. Well, OK, maybe that's not exactly true. I do know where they've gone (in part). I've been dealing with some very frustrating medical issues for several months, and have had a difficult time trying to get the things done that I want to. One of those is posting cards on my blog. I did get some card making done before the holidays, so maybe I can get some of those cards posted soon.

After Christmas I did need thank you cards for some of the amazing gifts I received. I needed them to be super simple and quick to make. One of my gifts was beautiful handmade paper from The Paper Source. I really wanted the focus to be on this paper with its shimmery copper detail. So I really just added a layered thanks diecut (Simon Says Stamp CZ Designs) using copper colored paint chips and some copper thread. I do apologize for this very poor picture- you can't see how beautiful the paper really is.

Pugsgiving 2018

Last weekend was Pug Rescue of Florida's (pugrescueofflorida.org) big fall fundraiser - Pugsgiving.
This is always a really fun time that raises a lot of money to help fund the medical bills of rescued pugs and brings together potential adoptee families with adoptable pugs. It is a fun day of activites all centered around pugs and their families - games, costume contests, raffles, silent auctions, and lots of pug themed shopping. This was our fourth year selling our cards to help raise money. 100% of the sale price of our cards goes to Pug Rescue. And we did really good. We raised almost $850 in that one day alone, from our card sales.
