Hoppy Cards
Today I have a couple cards to share that were made as part of a set for my sister-in-law's birthday. She loves frogs, so I think these are perfect for her.
Hope you have a nice day, and thanks for visiting!

Happy Birthday, Inlaid Wood
Today's card features a cool Papertrey Ink birthday die and inlaid wood. I love using real wood for this technique. And I love the simplicity of this card. Happy Birthday Dee - I hope you have a great day.

Distress Oxide Inks
I have been playing around a little with the new Distress Oxide Inks. Here are two cards made with just two colors of these inks and watercolor paper and using the ink smooshing technique. One of the unique characteristics of these inks are you can layer one color upon another without any "muddying" of the colors.

Papertrey Ink, Cornered Die
Today I have a card to share that uses the Papertrey Ink Cornered Birthday Die.
I cut the die from two colored cardstocks, inlaid the letters from one into the other, layered over some birthday patterned paper, and added a bit of Wink of Stella to the balloons. That's all.

A Woodland Wedding Card
Recently a good friend asked me to make her a non - traditional wedding card for a friend who is an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking. I tried to incorporate "outdoorsy" elements - ferns diecut from handmade paper and real birch wood. For the background I used a piece of white handmade paper with waves that reminded me of a river. And I added a few white sequins and silver heat embossed the sentiment. Really pretty!
