Puppy Love, Two Ways

Today I'm sharing two versions of the same card - using the same stamp - Puppy Love by Reverse Confetti.  I also used the same frame die from Papertrey Ink for both cards.  All the dogs were stamped on watercolor paper and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

Paper Source Cats

Today I have three cards, all made using some cool cat paper from the Paper Source.  They have incredibly beautiful paper.  All three cards are very simple so as to showcase this paper.  For each card (in a set of 6) I made sure to use a different section of the paper (it comes in a very large sheet) so each card had different cats on it.

Supplies used include:  Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles, Circles, Squares and Painted Hello and Thanks Dies, Bazzill Vellum,  Neenah Desert Storm and Simon Says Stamp Fog Cardstocks, Nuvo Drops

Pug Love

I've been busy creating new cards for my Etsy shop (link at right).  My Etsy shop was set up to help raise money for Pug Rescue of Florida - I donate $2 from each pug card sold on Etsy to Pug Rescue of Florida.  I also sell my cards at their annual Pugsgiving fundraiser where they receive 100% of the money.  And selling cards that don't feature pugs help me to buy minimal supplies, so that I can hopefully continue to raise money to help the pugs.

Today I'm sharing two new pug cards - for valentines, or anniversaries, or just to say I love you.  A lot of pug love.

Altenew Hennah Elements

Today I'm sharing several cards made for my daughter-in-law, using AlteNew's Hennah Elements Stamp set.

There are so many ways to use these stamps.  For these cards I stamped in black and used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to bring in bold colors. After fussy cutting all the images I used a black marker along the edges.  I kept the rest of the cards simple because I wanted the Hennah Elements to be the focus.

I can't wait to try just stamping these in black on kraft, or heat embossing in gold on a solid color card stock or white heat embossing on black or navy card stock or stamping and messy watercoloring the images.  Really so many options.

S.S. Minnow Thanks

Today's card is simple, but I LOVE the way it came out.  A friend of my husband took us out boating over the holidays.  He has an ultra fancy pontoon boat.  Each time he leaves the dock he plays the theme song from Gilligan's Island.  So, for this card I printed out the words from that song and used it as the basis for my card.  This card came out exactly like I envisioned it, so I hope he likes it.  The only problem is --- now I can't get that song out of my head!

Happy 2017

Happy 2017!  I am so happy to see the new year. 2016 was in many ways a difficult one for me, so I am hoping for a "less eventful" 2017.

Today I'm sharing my Christmas Thank You cards - which I am still working on writing out.  They will hopefully be in the mail soon.  They are very elegant looking in real life.  The gold embossing is difficult to photograph.

Supplies used include:  Hero Arts Cling Background Stamp Holiday Florals, Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangle dies, painted thanks die, and antique gold embossing powder, Neenah Desert Storm 110 lb cardstock, gold thread
